What you need to know

It is all about the fabric and the fit. I have made this waistcoat using the finest high quality 1/100 British Wool from Huddersfield, Yorkshire. It is soft, comfortable and extremely smart. This waistcoat can be matched to all of our formal and business suits to complete the perfect outfit for any occasion.

Style Features

I have designed this waistcoat to have a 4 button front with 2 straight pockets and covered buttons. It also has a lining back and a back adjuster. You can alter or change any of the features above in the personalisation section, you can add more pockets, select the amount of buttons and change the backing to material if you prefer.

I have already chosen a lining and backing colour that I believe matches the material colour you have chosen. However please feel free to change your choice in the personalisation section, you may want to match the lining of a jacket you have chosen, or you may wish to change it to a material backed waistcoat.

Waistcoat Build Quality

I add little extra details to my garments to ensure they are the best quality. For example, on the waistcoats I add a D stitch to the corners of all the pockets to make sure that they are reinforced and strengthen so they will not rip or tear through use. This is something that I believe should be on all garments however it is time consuming and therefore expensive to add.

A little bit more about the Fabric

I need to explain a little bit more about why this British fabric is so special. British weaving involves a 2 core yarn; this means that the fabric will ‘bounce back’ to its original shape after being worn. It is also 2 fold in the weft and the warp making the fabric more balanced so it will not twist whilst it is hanging.
Wool is a fantastic fabric due to its other special qualities, it naturally wicks water away from the body, this makes it great for Summer and the warmer climates. It is also good for Winter as the tight weave stops wind blowing through it as easily as a lighter weight suit.
