What you need to know

I have made this suit using a quality Far Eastern Linen; it is fantastic for the hotter weather. It does crease but that is the beauty of linen, it gives it a character and a lived in feel. This suit will have you looking smart and formal in the traditional Morning Suit style but with the comfortable and coolness that is needed in the hotter climates.

Style Features

I have designed this suit in the classic Morning Suit Style to show its elegance.

The jacket is a traditional Tailcoat, with a centre vent with a 1 button front and 2 buttons on the lower back, I have put a breast pocket and peaked lapels. The trousers are plain fronted with straight legs and 1 rear pocket to the right.
You can alter and change many of the features shown above, and put your own personal touch to your suit. This can be done in the personalisation stage.

I have already chosen a lining and a piping colour that I believe matches the colour you have chosen, but please feel free to browse through the other colours available in the personalisation stage and choose your own.

There are a couple of aspects of the suit that cannot be altered as I believe that those define the suit and add to its characteristics.

The centre vent cannot be changed as this is the main feature that makes the ‘tails’ without the tails it would not be a morning suit.

Morning suits also have 1 button, changing this would mean the cut and shape of the jacket would have to be altered, again taking away the morning suit characteristics.

A Little History

It is rare that a morning suit is made from Linen, however I have continued with the traditional features, like the 2 lower back buttons. These were originally used when getting to formal occasions on horseback was the norm. The tails used to be folded up out of the way and buttoned to the lower back; this would keep them off the horse’s side during transit.

Suit Build Quality

I put extra detailing on my suits to make sure that you are receiving the best quality that I can offer. For example, I put a D stitch at the corners of all the pockets to add reinforcement and strength, this makes sure that they will not rip or tear during use. I also add an extra strong bar tack in the crotch of the trousers to ensure that my trousers will never rip in that area.
